Welcome to my website.
I would like to provide information about old games from Germany and Austria, but not only.
Sometime in the mid-80s, a school friend invited me to his house after school. In the living room, below the television, was a device shaped like a breadbox with a keyboard. He turned it on, and a blue screen with a light blue frame appeared. We typed on the keyboard, and the screen displayed various characters and foreground and background colors.
That was my first encounter with a computer, in this case the C64 home computer.
My first gaming experience was the LucasArts adventure Maniac Mansion, which I played on a school friend's C64 at a birthday party in 1987.
The first game that left a lasting impression was Elvira - Mistress of the Dark on the Commodore Amiga.
In the late 80s, I received an NES video game console for Christmas. It came with the game Ice Climber, which I enjoyed. Later, I received Ghosts'n Goblins which I enjoyed more and finished.
After much begging and pleading, my parents finally bought me a C64 in 1991.
I wish you a nice day and see you soon!
